New York's 'Real Bronx Tours' are dunzo after an outrage from Bronx residents and media.

The 'Real Bronx Tour' advertised a 'ride through a real New York City Ghetto' for $45.

Olga Luz Triado, executive director of the Bronx Tourism Council, was shocked when she learned that the tour featured soup kitchens and public houses.

"We are more than happy to welcome tours to our community that celebrate the rich culture and history of our neighborhoods, but using the Bronx to sell a so-called 'ghetto' experience to tourists is completely unacceptable." said Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr.

Bronx residents have grown tired of outsiders trying to 'ghettoize' them and are creating their own campaign called 'Bronx Rising.'

Fashion Designer Betsey Johnson will show at New York Fashion Week. 

Despite reports of bankruptcy and an earlier statement saying she would take this season off, the beloved fashion designer apparently had a change of heart. 

"I just could not stay away from fashion week," she said. "I wanted this for myself and for all my fans to show that I've still got it and I am not going anywhere."

Her show is scheduled for February 11 at 5 p.m.

The Cinè Institute, home of the newly formed Jollywood, will hold a fundraising showcase in New York City.

Jollywood was named after the school's home town Jacmel and the world famous Hollywood in hopes of making a once-torn Haiti shine. 

"We felt this was a cause coherent with the cultural mission we are promoting here in New York. We felt we should really support this school." said President of the FIAF Marie Monique-Steckel. 

The fundraiser called Haiti Optimiste will feature films from Cinè Institute's students. 

Fashion photog Marc Baptise, Actor Ben Stiller, and Singer Emeline Michel will all be participating in the event. 

"The obvious perception of Haiti is extremely negative. The news portrays it as full of violence, destruction, corruption, and disease," says Cinè Institute founder David Belle."I've been living here for 20 years, and I'm not a glutton for punishment. I remain there because I see so much potential and creativity in Haiti, and that will be very much on display on the stage."

The fundraiser will take place on January 24.

Vogue sparked controversy after it featured an editorial tribute to Hurricane Sandy in its' latest issue.

"When Hurricane Sandy hit, The city's bravest and brightest punched back. With the area now on the mend, We paid these stalwart souls a visit, dressed up in the best of New York collections. Call them New York's other finest," said a post on Vogue's website.

Even though Vogue's heart may have been in the right place, many fans are offended by the shoot calling it barbaric, materialistic, and downright rude.

Kottke.org said," I guess they were going for inappropriate and provocative but hit inappropriate & idiotic instead?"

Models Joan Smalls, Liu wen, Karlie Kloss, and Arizona Muse were featured in the spread along side the National Guards 69th Infantry wearing dresses worth thousands of dollars.
