Google works to preserve languages with latest project

Google announced the launch of The Endangered Language Project on Thursday.

The project was launched in an attempt to save over 3,000 endangered languages.

"With the disappearance of unwritten and undocumented languages, humanity would lose not only a cultural wealth but also important ancestral knowledge embedded, in particular, indigenous languages, " said UNESCO.
