Heidi Klum is all set to join "America's Got Talent.'

Earlier this week, TMZ reported that Klum was in talks to become the talent competitions' first judge.

The supermodel confirmed the news on Twitter:

"Excited to join @HowardStern @HowleMandel @OfficialMelB & @nbcagt as new judge! Will be so fun! #AGT "

Shooting for the new season will begin today in New Orleans.

New York Fashion week kicks off on Wednesday with the amFAR Gala.

The black-tie event is held every year on the eve of fashion week in honor of individuals who have contributed to the fight against AIDS.

This years' honorees include: Heidi Klum, Janet Jackson, and Kenneth Cole.

The gala, which had its' show in 1998, has raised over $10 million to date.
