Jay-Z released an 'Open Letter' to critics who slammed the rapper turned mogul and his superstar wife, Beyonce, for vacationing in Cuba.

"Obama said chill, you gonna get me impeached/ But you don't need this shit anyway/ Chill with me on the beach," he raps.

Last week, Florida Republicans accused the couple of vacationing illegally in a communist community.

It was later revealed that the trip was sanctioned by the United States Treasury Department.

Beyonce will serve as an honorary chair at the 2013 Met Gala.

The R&B star will work along side Anna Wintour, Rooney Mara, and Riccardo Tisci to premiere the Met's feature exhibition, "Punk: Chaos to Couture.'

The exhibition will celebrate Punk's influence on the Fashion World.

Givenchy's Riccardo Tisci told media what Punk meant to him.

"For me, it's liberty and freedom,' he said. 'Youth expressing themselves. When people are honest and free, that is the most punk.'

The Gala, also known as the 'Fashion Oscars,' will go down in New York on May 6.

Beyonce is all set to premiere her 'Life is But a Dream' documentary on HBO later this month.

The documentary will give audiences an inside look at the superstars life and show her in a way that many have never seen her before.

"I really grew so much. The movie has really been therapy. I've healed from so many wounds and I've been able to understand why some of the things I've been through, why I went through, so I feel really proud , and hopefully I can inspire other people," she said.

The documentary will air on HBO on February 16 at 9pm.

Beyonce released footage from her rehearsal for her up-and-coming half-time show at the Superbowl.

The long awaited performance has been the victim of rumors and controversy.

The singer was accused of lip-syncing at President Obama's Inauguration earlier this month.

Rumors also circulated that singer will have former Destiny Child members join her on stage.

Unfortunately, the rumors of a Destiny Child reunion were dispelled by Destiny Child bandmate, Michelle Williams.

Beyonce has not spoken on the lip-syncing incident, but she has received support from the likes of Michelle Williams, Aretha Franklin, and Jennifer Lopez.

Pop star Beyonce wowed audiences with her rendition of 'The Star Spangled Banner' at Obama's Inauguration on Monday.

However, views of the star's performance are now changing after speculation that the star may have lip-synced.

Kristin DuBois, a spokeswoman for the Marine Corps Band, told reporters that Beyonce did not sing live at the Inauguration.

"All music is pre-recorded for the ceremony because there are so many eventualities and conditions that day, said DuBois. "We performed live, the band. But, we received last-minute word that Beyonce was going to use the pre-recorded vocal track. Those were the instructions we were given. We don't know what the reason why."

Beyonce has not commented on her performance.

Beyoncé will be performing for the first time since birthing her daughter, Blue Ivy, this weekend at Atlantic City's Revel Resort.

The pop star admits to being nervous about performing post baby bump.

"It's a little strange, but it's important that you don't lose yourself and you still have your own passions," she says in a behind the scenes video. "And I'm back to work, I'm back to business."
