Kelly Rowland released the video for her latest single, 'Dirty Laundry,' on Monday.

The single documents Rowland's involvement in an abusive relationship.

"It was very emotional. It took me days to record," she told Billboard. "I had to get past being so upset and actually sing this song, not sob through it. I always hope that music can inspire someone, the same way other artists inspire me. Dream said, 'I want to write you a record so that people will know exactly who you are , underneath it all.'"

R&B singer Kelly Rowland released her latest single, 'Dirty Laundry' on Wednesday.

In the single, Rowland reveals that she was envious of her sister Beyonce's success.

"When my sister was on stage/ killing it like a .../ I was enraged feeling it like a .....," she sings.

The former Destiny Child member also sings about an abusive relationship, telling listeners "y'all don't know the half of this industry."

Her new album, "Talk a Good Game" will hit stores on June 18.
