Batman's Robin to be killed off

Batman's beloved sidekick and son may not last much longer.

In fact, he is scheduled to be killed off in the next DC comic.

Comic writer Grant Morrison released a statement about his decision to kill off Robin, who is also the son of Batman.

"This master theme of damaged and ruined families was nowhere more in evidence than in the creation of Damien, the first "Son of Batman" to be acknowledged in the canon. In many new ways this has been Damian's story as much as it has been the story of Bruce Wayne and it's a story that had its' end planned a long time ago - for what son could ever hope to replace a father like Batman, who never dies?"

Wayne will die in Wednesday's Batman, Incorporated #8.

Ice T premieres Rap Documentary

Pioneer rapper Ice T premiered his Rap Documentary, Something from Nothing:The Art of Rap, on Wednesday night.

The documentary features interviews with Hip Hop's greatest legends and details the history of the amazing, yet misunderstood genre.

"I was looking at the state of hip hop, which has gotten a little pop for me, and I just wanted to document where we came from," said Ice T. "I don't feel rap has been respected as an art form. Because people have seen rappers rap off the top of their heads, they don't think it is difficult."
