London Fashion Week : Highlights

It's Fashion Week season and you know what that means ! It means great clothes, delicious champagne and drooling fashionistas. Last week, the fashion world wrapped up its' beloved Mercedes Benz NY Fashion Week. On Saturday, the drooling continued as Fashion Brits got their chance to shine.
On Day 4 of their highly successful extravaganza, I can safely say that Brits rarely disappoint. My favorite of the week come from Holly Foulton, who stunned audiences with her bright and blue themed collection.
Another favorite was the Minnie Mouse collection. This choice probably has more to do with my childhood then anything else. I always will love the creativity and thrill that comes with Disney's greatest characters. The collection, which features work from some of fashion's greatest, is no different. Maybe I'll buy something when designers auction off the Minnie-themed items on EBay. Proceeds will go to the Bazaar Fashion Arts Foundation.
Finally, the most talked about show of Day 3 came from Vivienne Westwood, who premiered her controversial Red Label collection and strutted down the runway with a "climate revolution" t-shirt, a mustache, boxer shorts, and a war helmet.
So far, London has given us more than we could ask from its' beautiful Minnie Mouse designs to Vivienne Westwood asking for a "climate revolution." Things will be winding down for London Fashion Week on Tuesday, but for now lets just enjoy the splendor of it all.
