Run D.M.C will reunite at Fun Fun Fun Fest

The Hip Hop Pioneer group, RUN D.M.C, will reunite for Texas' Fun Fun Fun Fest in November.

The Fun Fun Fun Fest will be the group's first headliner since the death of group member DJ Jam Master Jay.

Surviving members, Joseph 'Run' Simmons and Darryl 'D.M.C' McDaniels, will perform and donate a percentage of proceeds to the JMJ Foundation of Music.

"We couldn't be more excited," said festival producer James Moody. "Run D.M.C is one of our favorite bands, and one of the most influential groups of all time...We never thought we would get to see [them] play live, much less play in Austin at our festival."

The festival will run from November 2-4. Tickets are on sale at funfunfunfest.com.
