National Museum of African Art presents 'Africa Underground'

The National Museum of African Art will hold 'Africa Underground' in July.

'Africa Underground' will showcase African food, music, and art.

The theme, "Beneath the Stars," will feature the museum's latest exhibit "African Cosmos: Stellar Arts," a cosmic art workshop, henna tattoos, and a food buffet.

"Each Africa underground has topped the past one," said museum director Johnetta Cole. "As we gather this time under the stars. I fully expect this Africa Underground to really take off."

The event will take place on July 13 from 7-11 p.m ET.
