New Police Chief in Sanford

Richard Myers, former chief of the Plymouth Police Department, is the new interim police chief in Sanford, Florida.

Sanford made the news after Trayvon Martin, a black teenager, was fatally shot by a white neighborhood watch captain.

The watch captain, also known as George Zimmerman, has since been charged with second degree murder.

Myers has promised an "A to Z" review of the departments' actions concerning the Trayvon Martin case.
