Beastie Boys' Adam Yauch has died



Adam Yauch, also known as rapper MCA of the Beastie Boys, has died.

GlobalGrind.com reports that Yauch died after a long battle with Cancer.

The video (above) features Adam Yauch announcing a delay on the 2009 Beastie Boys' album called 'Hot Sauce Committee' due to cancer discovery and upcoming treatment.

He was 47.

    Just heard about Adam Yauch passing away. RIP MCA. Listening to "Egg Raid on Mojo" as I write. You brought punk rock sensibilities to hip hop...a perfect match. And mega doses of humor! Such a part of my youth. Thank you. You will be missed.
