Minority becomes Majority in US births

Minority babies are in the majority for the first time in United States history.

According to the U.S Census Bureau, 50.4 percent of children under the age of 1 are Non-Whites.

"This is a watershed moment," said sociologist Andrew Cherlin. "It shows how multi-cultural we have become. "

The Census predicts that Non-Hispanic whites will be outnumbered in 2042.
