'Fruitvale Station' releases trailer

The first trailer for the critically acclaimed movie, 'Fruitvale Station,' was released on Monday.

The film, based on the 2009 shooting of Oscar Grant, opened at the Sundance Film Festival to rave reviews.

"Made with assurance and quiet emotion, this unexpectedly devastating drama based on the real life 2009 shooting of an unarmed young black man at an Oakland Bay Area Transit Station impressed everyone as the work of an exceptional film maker," said Kenneth Turan of the Los Angeles Times.

'Fruitvale Station' will premiere in US theaters on July 16.
