American Idol getting Big Makeover

American Idol is getting a big makeover.

Reports claim that Idol producers are planning to fire all 4 judges in an attempt to revamp the 12 year old singing competition.

"All four are gone," said an insider. "They feel they've lost their core audience and they want it back."

Music Producer Randy Jackson walked away from the reality competition after reports of the 'Idol' makeover went viral.

"Yo! Yo! Yo!," he said. "To put all the speculation to rest, after twelve years of judging 'American Idol,' I have decided to leave after this season. I am very proud of how we forever changed television and the music industry. It's been a life changing opportunity but I am looking forward to focusing on my company, Dream Merchant 21, and other business ventures."

Fox has not commented on any of the firing rumors.

The show's season finale will premiere on Thursday, May 16 at 8 pm ET on Fox.
