Michael Gracey to direct Elton John Biopic

'Rocketman,' an upcoming Elton John biopic, has found its' director.

Deadline.com reports that Commercial Director Michael Gracey had signed on to lead the film .

"Everyone knows and love Elton John's music, but the story of his life is so incredible that it can only be described as a fantasy." Gracey said. "His journey from impossible dreamer to stardom and uncontrollable excess is something only a musical film can capture, and I'm so so excited to be the one to tell his story."

Gracey is also set to direct Fox's 'The Greatest Man on Earth' and Disney's 'The Muppet Man.'
