Pauline Phillips, known for Dear Abby, dies

Pauline Phillips, known for her groundbreaking column Dear Abby, has died.

The column has become an iconic part of American culture and has been featured in shows like, "Three's Company," "Dexter," and "Mr. Ed."

Universal Uclick, the columns syndicator, announced that Dear Abby appears in over 1,000 newspapers and has a daily readership of over 100 million.

Phillips was 94.

She is survived by her daughter Jeanne, her husband Mort Phillips, four grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
