Different Strokes' actor Conrad Bain dies

Different Strokes' actor Conrad Bain died in his California home on Monday.

Todd Bridges, the actor who played Bain's son in Different Strokes, told E! News :

"In addition to being a positive and supportive father both on and off screen, Conrad was well-loved and made going to work each day enjoyable for all of us. He will be missed and not forgotten."

Bain was 89.
