The Spice Girls launch new musical
The Spice Girls reunited to promote a musical based on their biggest hits on Tuesday.
The musical, 'Viva Forever!', was written by Jennifer Saunders and produced by 'Mamma Mia!' producer Judy Craymer.
The Spice Girls have high hopes for the musical, claiming to have spoken about it for years.
Spice Girl Melanie Chisholm said, "I don't think it took any convincing at all," she said. "It's something we've spoken about a lot over the years."
"I think that our music lends itself really well to theatre and when we reunited in 2007 that was when we started to talk about it more seriously."
'Viva Forever!' will open in London at the Piccadilly Theatre on December 11.
