DC Superhero comes out of the closet

DC superhero Green Lantern is gay.

The superhero comes out in the second issue of 'Earth 2'.

The series writer, James Robinson, spoke on the big surprise.

"This was my idea," he said."He's fearless and he's honest to the point where he realized he was gay and he said 'I'm gay.'"

The issue comes on out next Wednesday.
