Boy with cerebral palsy finishes race
Matt Woodrum, a fifth grader with cerebral palsy, inspired the world after a video featuring him running a 400 meter race went viral on Youtube.
Woodrum decided to participate in the race despite being given the option to sit out.
His gym teacher walked beside him for most of the race, speaking words of encouragement.
Later, his fellow classmates joined in, clapping their hands and yelling, "Let's go Matt, let's go."
"It was really encouraging," he said. "It helped me get through the rest of the race."
