Ashton Kutcher's Popchips ad pulled for Brownface

A new Popchips ad is receiving criticism after featuring Ashton Kutcher in brownface.

The ad has since been removed from the company's website, Facebook, and Youtube channel.

Keith Belling, founder of Popchips, posted an apology on the company's website.

"We received a lot [of] feedback about the dating campaign parody we launched today and appreciate everyone who took the time to show their point of view. Our team worked hard to create a light-hearted parody featuring a variety of characters that was meant to create a few laughs. We did not intend to offend anyone. I take full responsibility and apologize to anyone we offended."

Ashton Kutcher has not made any comments on the campaign.
